LVAF active power filter is a new power electronic device of dynamically suppressing harmonics, reactive power compensation, through real-time detection of the load current waveform and DSP calculation, to obtain content of load current harmonic, then a PWM signal to inverter controlled by IGBT, such, to produce a current as big as load harmonic current but opposite direction into power supply system. Finally, the harmonic is filtered.
