We are very happy to hear the news that Shanghai Sinopec's first large-tow carbon fiber production line has been successfully launched.

Sinopec Shanghai "24,000 tons/year raw silk, 12,000 tons/year 48K large tow carbon fiber" project adopts PAN (polyacrylonitrile)-based large tow raw silk and carbon fiber technology independently developed by Sinopec. It will be implemented in stages and is planned to be fully completed and put into production in 2024. By then, the total production capacity will reach 24,000 tons/year of raw silk and 12,000 tons/year of large tow carbon fiber.

This project is a major industrial project in Shanghai, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan. It will effectively promote the development of the domestic carbon fiber industry and support manufacturing in China.

In this project, Sanhe provided Shanghai Petrochemical with a variety of products, including: reactive power compensation, harmonic control solutions , etc. These products has effectively improved the power quality .
